I believe that the purpose of a college education is focused on experience. I think our lives have come to a drastic change and that all of us are learning of new ways to cope and handle different things. I feel that being educated means to learn about all different aspects of life and to get a general understanding of multiple things in life. I had moved around a lot as a child. Even though most of this was within the same state, it was still interesting to see how different areas can provide you with different knowledges in culture or ways of living. Even teaching styles in school differ from place to place. Coming to college was just as big of a difference because not only are classes different, but the environment is different as well. Coming from New Jersey the atmosphere and even some of the people are very different than what I'm used to. Also living on my own and not depending on my family as much has been a huge life lesson. Over all I think that being educated has many different meanings and that learning will always be a part of our lives no matter where we go or what we're doing.
